I just stumbled upon this amazing silent film star scrapbook on flickr, found by liebemarlene at an antique fair. I love researching the film stars, they have such evocative names, like Blanche Sweet seen above.

Finally a new post as I've been feeling ill for what seems like forever! It's snowy and pretty here and I'm feeling a bit more Christmassy!

Also i have a new toy... a glockenspiel. I played it on a festive song we recorded at the weekend, it was fun!


I gave tom his Christmas pressie early, a t shirt embroidered with this little fella, a drawing by Daniel Johnston. It seemed to go down well! Hand made gifts are best!

I love this tutorial made by Melly on Green laundry, showing how to attach a heart-shaped bokeh lens hood to your camera to make the photos seen here.. I have to try this!
