At the weekend Tom and I hopped on a train to the seaside town of Brighton. The town is home to lots of quirky shops, veggie cafes and cosy pubs. I'll do another post soon with some tips on our favourite places, but for now here's a few photos from what we saw over our weekend.
The burnt out West Pier is my favourite.
Moomin joy!
Love all the coloured houses.
A cheeky seagull.
Gorgeous photos! xx
ReplyDeleteLovely photos! I so wish I had gotten to Brighton during my time in England, I think I would have really liked it! The burnt pier is so hauntingly beautiful... At least out in Cornwall (where I lived for a year) they have tons of those beautiful colored houses!
ReplyDeleteOh Cornwall is indeed beautiful as well.
DeleteLovely pictures! The thought of the train journey from Nottingham to Brighton puts me off, well done for braving it!
ReplyDeleteHa true! The main reason i went was that i won free return tickets to London and from there it's under an hour. But we were still extremely tired when we got home on Sunday night! It's a shame Nottingham is so land locked really.
DeleteI agree! I've only been to Brighton once, and that was with a stopover in London... it's a bit of a mission from the East Mids! Not surprised you were tired!
DeleteI love the moomin! I still haven't been to Brighton and the more photos I see the more I want to go and take photos there too :)
ReplyDeleteYou should definitely visit, it's so photogenic. Will be posting up a guide to some cool places we went to soon too x
DeleteBrighton looks like a lovely place! Looks a bit like Coney Island. If I'm ever in England, I'll have to stop by. Thanks so much for sharing such great pictures
ReplyDeleteYou should definitely visit! It's a really arty place with some amazing shops and pubs too.
DeleteLovely! I really want to go back sometime.
ReplyDeleteAwhh youve captured our fair city well.Glad you enjoyed yourself xx
ReplyDeleteSo many gorgeous photos - I think the top one is my favourite, though; it's stunning. I've never been to Brighton but I'd love to visit it one day.
ReplyDeleteYes do, though its quite a distance for you too!
DeleteGreat pics!
ReplyDeleteBut the burning questions is... did you go on the Magic Mouse?! (I love that ride, it comes to Loughborough fair every year and I pressure everyone to go on it...)
B
Haha i sadly didn't! It looked pretty good though.
Deletemay I please use the photo of coloured houses??? In a Brighton based local magazine??? (What's Happening magazine)
